VA Home Loan Mortgage Rates September 23 – Refinance Rates Unchanged

Posted on | September 23, 2009 | No Comments

VA home loan mortgage rates for September 23rd, 2009 remain unchanged at 4%.  Prior to the Federal Reserve Bank Announcement at 2:15 pm we are seeing very little movement in refinance mortgage rates.  This is likely to change greatly after 2:15; the Fed is likely to leave overnight interest rates unchanged but their commentary could go a long way in affecting the overall markets.

With little change in rates over the last 24 hours there is not much commentary on the current interest rate environment.  This is not going to be the case tomorrow when mortgage interest rates are likely to be very volatile.  There will be quick movements at 2:15 then we will see which direction the yields and overall mortgage rates go.  At this point I have absolutely no prediction but check back into Subprime Blogger to get all the analysis.
