VA Home Loan Mortgage Rates September 22 – Guaranteed Rates Extremely Low
Posted on | September 22, 2009 | No Comments
VA home loan mortgage rates are getting very close to all time lows on September 22nd, 2009. With 30 year fixed mortgage rates at 5%, VA guaranteed loan rates are right at 4%. Most of the time, VA home loan mortgage rates are one full percentage point lower than conventional mortgage rates. Earlier this morning, Subprime Blogger reported 30 year mortgage interest rates at 5.01%. With this being the case, expect to see VA home loan rates at 4.01% or lower.
With mortgage rates near historic lows now is a great time to get a VA home loan. To lock in to a mortgage under 4% is something almost unheard of. If you ask all of your friends and family it is very unlikely that they have a mortgage rate under 5% no less 4%. If you are a veteran and you have the ability to lock in at these low rates do not let this great opportunity pass you by. There are many great resources online with the best probably being VaMortgageCenter.com.
Please realize that if you do use the VA home loan that you only get one. If you have already used this low mortgage rate in the past you are not going to qualify now. If this is your first home loan you do not realize how lucky you are to lock into a mortgage rate that is so low. Make sure to do your research before completing the process though.
