Over the last several weeks the 10 year treasury rate yield has been steadily moving higher but on October 17 we are seeing the 10 year yield moved sideways. This should help individuals find today’s lowest mortgage interest rates around 4.5% from most major lenders. Some of these lenders could include TD Bank, HSBC and PNC Bank.
In the next several weeks it will be very interesting to see what happens with the 10 year treasury rate yielded some analysts are predicting that the bottom has been reached at 1.67% and we are likely starting a new uptrend. If this is the case then we will see 30 year fixed mortgage rates start to move their way towards 5%.
