Even the 30 year fixed mortgage rates are being advertised round 4.3% it is still true that most Americans will find that they cannot lock into the lowest rates of it made poor financial decisions in the last several years.
As we get closer to the fall of 2011 there is a very strong possibility that the overall economy could improve which in turn could push thirty-year interest rates higher. As the unemployment rate drops, home prices increase and the stock market reaches multi-decade highs there is no reason to believe that interest rates will not move quickly towards 5% and possibly even 6%.
With this in mind it may be a very wise decision to do extensive research on the possibility of refinancing a home loan sooner rather than later. By waiting until the last minute to go to the refinance process there is a possibility that individuals could miss out on some of the lowest interest rates in the history of the United States housing market.
