On March 29, 2011 we are seeing 30 year fixed mortgage rates drop to 4.65% as the 10 year treasury rate yielded to the resistance level at its 50 day moving average. At the present time many Americans will seek Wells Fargo refinance mortgage rates but it is important to note that there are many other options available as well.

There are over 7000 FDIC insured banks throughout the United States should help Americans better understand what interest rate will be possible. It is always advisable to research as much as possible has this could help save a significant amount of money in the long run. Luckily, there are many free resources available online that should help make this research much easier.

The HUD website has many valuable resources that should help Americans when it comes to understanding the mortgage application process. Most Americans do not realize that there are many negotiating steps when it comes to closing costs when refinancing and this could end up saving hundreds and possibly even thousands of dollars in the long run.

It is also important to note that it takes an amazing financial history to have any opportunity to lock in to the lowest possible rates. By having a credit score that is in excess of 740 and a debt to income ratio that is below 40% many American households will be in a great position to lock into the lowest possible home loan interest rates in March or April of 2011.

As we get deeper into the summer there is a very good chance that we could see 30 year fixed rates start to rise. If the unemployment rate continues to drop in the stock market continues to move higher than there is a strong possibility that we could see 30 year fixed rates move through 5% and even make their way toward 6%. With this in mind it may be wise to start research today and see if refinancing is a possibility.
