Save Money Any Way Possible

Wells Fargo Refinance Mortgage Rates – Fixed 30 Year Interest Rates Rise to 4.6% on March 22

Posted on | March 22, 2011 | Comments Off

Over the last week we have seen Wells Fargo refinance mortgage rates very close to 4.5% as the 10 year treasury rate yield is well below its 50 day moving average. Today, March 22, 2011 we are seeing fixed 30 year home loan interest rates at 4.6% but these are still very attractive levels for those looking to refinance and save money.

Many analysts have made the prediction that as the economy improves it will likely be true that interest rates rise. With the unemployment rate dropping several times over the last half year there is a very good chance that we could see interest rates start to rise if the unemployment rate drops well below 8%.

With this in mind it may be a very wise choice to start research nail rather than waiting until the summer when it comes to refinancing. By waiting until the second part of 2011 many Americans may miss an opportunity to save hundreds and possibly even thousands of dollars during 2011 by refinancing.

Before making any final decisions it is important to note that there are closing costs and the refinance process. Rather than making the assumption that these costs are not negotiable is advisable to research on the HUD website and completely understand if money can be saved by lowering the costs and fees when refinancing with a lender.

It is often the case that Americans have the ability to reduce these fees by simply going through a strong negotiating process. With over 7000 FDIC insured banks throughout the United States and should not be difficult to walk away and find a mortgage lender who is willing to work with a specific financial situation.

Some of the largest mortgage lenders in the country include Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Chase and Citigroup but remember that there are multiple options at the regional and local level that should help Americans when it comes to receiving low interest rates during March or April of 2011.
