Federal Government Credit Card Debt Settlement and Relief – No Obama Help Planned for April 2011

Over the last several years a growing number of struggling Americans have found it very difficult to pay the bills so they often seek help from the federal government Pres. Obama. While this may seem like a legitimate claim it is important to note that there’s no such thing as a federal government or Obama credit card debt relief for debt settlement program at the present time.
In fact, the Obama administration has worked very hard to start enforcing new rules when it comes to credit card debt relief industry. On October 27, 2010 new rules were enforced at stated that debt relief companies can no longer charge upfront fees for their services. Services must be completed before any money exchanges hands.
Taking the time and effort to do research on a personal finance situation is always important when it comes to alleviating high interest rate debt. Rather than assuming that the government or Pres. Obama will bail one out t it is always a wise choice to create a strong weekly or monthly budget and slowly begin to pay down debts to the best of one’s ability.

Creating a budget is just the first step of the process as it is very important to stick to this budget over time.
