Federal Government Credit Card Debt Relief – Obama Plans and Programs Not Available in February 2011

The thought of a federal government credit card debt relief plan or an Obama debt settlement plan or program has been on the minds of many Americans looking for financial assistance but it is important to recognize that in February of 2011 no such program exists. In fact, the Obama administration continues to enforce new rules when it comes to credit card debt relief.
Even though the unemployment rate has dropped to 9% and the overall economy looks to be improving their still millions of Americans who are struggling greatly when it comes to personal finances. A large number of Americans have exhausted their unemployment benefits and they have no way to make money besides borrowing or getting a job which could be quite difficult.
With this in mind it comes as no surprise to see many of these individuals seeking help from the federal government. Fortunately, the FTC offers many valuable resources that are completely free. By accessing a FTC.gov Americans can better understand what steps it takes to create a strong weekly or monthly budget which in turn should help them alleviate debt problems.
It is very important to remember that reducing high interest-rate debts is not an overnight process. It often takes several years and possibly even decades to get out of debt but it is well worth it in the long run as it makes life much easier. By getting started today many Americans could start their trek towards financial freedom.
Rather than making the assumption that the government or Pres. Obama is going to magically bail American citizens out it is advisable to take matters into your own hands. By doing research online many will find that there are jobs available and it takes a little bit of sacrifice when it comes to cutting back on the items that were once purchased.
