Home Mortgage Refinance Loan Rates – 2011 Interest Rates Remain Under 5% for 30 Year Fixed Home Loan

Posted on | January 26, 2011 | No Comments

For the entire month of January 2011 we have seen 30 year fixed mortgage rates between 4.55% and 4.75%. With this in mind many Americans are looking to take advantage of refinance home loan rates at some of the lowest levels in the history of the United States housing market. As we move forward in 2011 there is a very good possibility that interest rates could move higher.

As the economy improves it will likely be the case that interest rates start to move up as the Federal Reserve Bank will conclude its quantitative easing program. This is good for the overall economy but it is not helpful for those who are waiting to refinance a home loan until later in the year in 2011. It is also not helpful to those who are looking to buy a home later this year.

With this in mind it may be wise to take advantage of the current level interest rate environment while it lasts. While no one can make a 100% accurate interest rate prediction many analysts have stated that the economy looks to be improving which in turn is a bad sign for low mortgage rates in the near future.

There’re many banks and lending institutions throughout the country that will be more than willing to help customers when it comes to refinancing home loan. Remember that there are local, regional and national lenders that will offer wonderful customer service and extremely low interest rate offers during the early months of 2011.

By checking out the competition when it comes to mortgage interest rates customers may find that there are plenty of opportunities to lock into a rate that is below 5%. Remember that it takes an amazing financial history to have any opportunity at these low interest rates. It would be advisable to have a credit score above 740 to gain access to the lowest rates.
