Wells Fargo Refinance Mortgage Rates – 30 and 15 Year Home Loans Move Up Slightly to Begin This Week
Posted on | January 24, 2011 | No Comments
Wells Fargo refinance mortgage rates have been very stable for them is the January 2011 but to start the final week of the month we are seeing 30 and 15 year home loan interest rates move slightly higher. At the present time we are seeing the 30 year fixed mortgage rate around 4.75% while the 15 year fixed mortgage rate is at 4%.
When looking at historical chart of mortgage rates it is quite obvious that interest rates are very close to all-time lows. In November of 2010 we saw 30 year fixed mortgage rates as low as 4% but that might be the lowest level in the history of the United States housing market. Even if homeowners did not have the ability to refinance during November they’re still opportunities to save money.
Taking the time and effort to do a little bit of extra research could prove to be greatly beneficial when it comes to locking in the lowest possible mortgage interest rates in January or February of 2011. Luckily, there are many free resources available online including the HUD website they can offer quite a bit of extra knowledge when it comes to refinancing home loan.
By simply taking a few hours out of the day to do research on this website many homeowners could end up saving hundreds of dollars a month on a mortgage payment and possibly thousands of dollars on closing costs and fees. This money being saved is well worth the time it takes to do a little bit of extra research and complete due diligence online.
While Wells Fargo is currently one of the largest mortgage lenders in the nation it is very important to remember that Wells Fargo is not the only option when it comes to locking in low mortgage interest rates. There many banks at the local, regional and national level they can offer great assistance when it comes to achieving low interest rates and gaining great customer service.
