With 30 year fixed mortgage rates under 5% many American homeowners are looking to compare mortgage interest rates today and an opportunity to save money on monthly mortgage payments. At the present time we are seeing 30 year fixed conventional mortgage rates at 4.75% while 15 year fixed conventional rates are at 4.0%.


Many major mortgage lenders are reporting that FHA mortgages are coming in very close to conventional mortgages so it should come as no surprise to see 30 year fixed FHA rates very low as well.
