Wells Fargo Refinance Mortgage Rates – Current 30 Year Home Loans Drop to 4.6% for Homeowners

Wells Fargo is currently one of the four largest mortgage lenders in the country along with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank of America and Citigroup. Many people are considering going to the refinance process with Wells Fargo as they hope to lower their overall home loan interest rate. At the present time we are seeing current 30 year fixed home loan interest rates around 4.6% from most lending institutions.
Over the last three years it has been the case that the federal reserve bank is taking every necessary step to keep interest rates very low. Fortunately, many Americans have had the ability to refinance the low rates which in turn has allowed them to save quite a bit of extra cash on a home loan payment.
It is very important to remember that there are closing costs that are associated with the refinance process. The general rule of thumb is that homeowners should desire to save at least one full percentage point to fully benefit from the refinance process in January or February of 2011.
Without saving this one full percentage point it is often the case that homeowners will find the closing costs outweigh benefits. There many mortgage calculators available online to help illustrate this point but just remember that saving one full percentage point will likely offer savings in the very near future. Finding a breakeven calculator could prove to be greatly important when it comes to refinancing in the current economic environment.
It is also important to remember that the big four banks have gobbled up many smaller institutions but there are still many local, regional and national lenders they can offer great customer service and financial assistance. But checking the competition it may prove greatly beneficial when it comes to locking in the lowest possible mortgage interest rates today.
