Posted on | January 12, 2011 | No Comments

Bank of America refinance mortgage rates have been a very hot topic of discussion over the last several months as millions of Americans are looking to save as much money as possible by reducing a home loan payment. At the present time we are seeing 30 year fixed home loan interest rates around 4.7% which is up slightly from yesterday.

Even though 30 year fixed mortgage rates are very close to the January 2011 highs it is still the case that millions of Americans have an opportunity to benefit by going to the refinance process. Remember that it takes a very impressive credit score to have any opportunities when it comes to refinancing home loans at the lowest possible rate.

It is also the case that Bank of America is the largest mortgage lender in the country but definitely not the only option when it comes to refinancing home loan. By doing research online almost all homeowners will find that there are local, regional and national lenders that offer wonderful customer service in very low interest rates and the current economic environment.

As we get deeper into 2011 it may be the case that interest rates start to move higher as the economy improves. The federal reserve bank as stated many times that when the economy starts to improve drastically it will be true that mortgage rates and interest rates start to move up. No one truly knows when this will happen but there is a very good chance that 2011 could be a strong year for the United States economy.

Taking the time and effort to complete due diligence and research is always very valuable when it comes to making financial decisions. It is even more important when a home loan is involved as this tends to be a multi-decade decision that could end up being the largest investment in one’s life.
