Wells Fargo Refinance Mortgage Rates – December 27 Home Loan Interest Rates at 4.75% for 30 Year Fixed

Posted on | December 27, 2010 | No Comments

Wells Fargo refinance mortgage rates will start the last week in December around 4.75% for well qualified homeowners.  While the east coast is trying to get through the blizzard of 2010 it will likely be the case that financial markets are not very active.  With many traders and Wall Street employees unable to get to work we do not expect to see very volatile rates.

Over the last two years it has been the case that millions of American homeowners have saved quite a bit of extra cash by going through the refinance process.  The general rule of thumb for all homeowners is that they must save at least one full percentage point to cover closing costs when it comes to the refinance process.

Luckily, there are many free mortgage and financial calculators available online that can help homeowners better understand what options are currently available.  These mortgage calculators will also give a number value as to what percentage must be obtained to cover those all important closing costs.

By doing a little bit of extra research online it is likely the case that there are still many American homeowners who stand to benefit from the current low interest rate environment.  Remember that not all homeowners will qualify for the lowest mortgage interest rates as it tends to take a credit score above 740 and a very low debt to income ratio below 40% to have any chance at these low interest rates.

Even though Wells Fargo is currently one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country, along with Bank of America, Chase and Citi, it is still the case that there are other options available.  There are many lenders at the regional, local and national level that can help homeowners will low interest rates offers while also giving great customers service.
