Bank of America refinance mortgage rates have been all over the map lately. We have seen the 30 year fixed mortgage rate as low as 4.0% at the beginning of November and as high as 5.25% during the first few weeks of December. During the last week of 2010 it seems likely that 4.75% will be where home loan interest rates will stay.
With that being said there are still many opportunities to save money by going through the refinance process. Many homeowners have made very good financial decisions over the past few weeks and months which will allow them to lock on to low interest rates on a home loan, car loan, personal loan or even a new credit card. Even though this is true it is still important to step back and understand what must be paid back.
Bank of America is currently the largest mortgage lender in the United States but remember that there are multiple options. Taking the time and effort to do some extensive research could prove to be greatly beneficial as customers will have the opportunity to receive rate quotes from several lenders. These customers can then use these rate quotes to negotiate a lower price.
Luckily, it is easier than it has ever been to do extensive personal finance research online. With the advancements of technology and Google it is now the case that almost all homeowners can find out almost anything they want to know about the refinance or mortgage application process. This can be done from the comfort of a home or office with very few phone calls made.
There are also a large number of mortgage calculators that offer assistance when it comes to understanding just how much money can be saved by refinancing. Remember to add closing costs when going through these calculations as closing costs can sometimes outweigh the savings.
