Bank of America Refinance Mortgage Rates – Home Loans Stable Heading into Christmas Holiday at 4.65%

Bank of America refinance mortgage rates have been quite volatile over the last several weeks but during the week before Christmas they have been stable with 30 year fixed mortgage rates at 4.65%. At the beginning of November we saw 30 year fixed home loan interest rates as low as 4.0% but this did not last long as they quickly moved all the way up to 5.25%.
The huge amount of volatility caused many homeowners to second-guess the refinance process and December of 2010. December is also a slow month due to the fact that many people are more concerned with spending time with their loved ones during the Christmas holiday. With this being the case most people wait until the new year to submit a mortgage application.
Taking the time and effort to do a significant amount of research on line could prove to be very important when it comes to locking in the lowest possible home loan interest rate. Bank of America is currently the largest mortgage lender in the country but it is not the only option when it comes to locking in 30 year fixed mortgage rates. There are many lenders at the local, regional and national level they can help homeowners when it comes to receiving great customer service and low rate offers.
As we get closer and closer to 2011 and will likely be the case that many American households think of New Year’s resolutions related to personal finances. Many of these individuals will look to save as much money as possible which means that they will likely consider refinancing home loan to save on a monthly mortgage payment.
With this being true is to be expected that mortgage applications will increase over the next few months after the new year has rolled over. It is often the case that January and February are one of the biggest months of the year when it comes to mortgage and refinance activity.
