Wells Fargo Refinance Mortgage Rates – December 20 Home Loans Dip to 4.75% for 30 Year Fixed

As we get closer and closer to Christmas it is likely the case that many Americans are not considering refinancing home loan as they are more concerned with getting those last-minute Christmas gifts and traveling home for the holidays. Even though this is the case there still some thrifty homeowners who are looking for the lowest home loan interest rates from Wells Fargo and other mortgage lenders.
Wells Fargo refinance mortgage rates have been on quite the roller coaster ride since the beginning of November. We have seen 30 year fixed home loan interest rates as low as 4.0% and as high as 5.25%. On December 20 we are seeing home loan interest rates around 4.75% for the 30 year fixed mortgage.
Even though mortgage interest rates have moved up drastically over the last several weeks it is still the case that they are very attractive when looking at historical charts. Never in the history of the United States housing market have we seen 30 year fixed mortgage rates below 5% for such an extended period of time.
With this being true it might be a wise decision to consider refinancing if strong financial decisions have been made over the past several months and years. It generally takes a credit score that is well above 740 and a debt to income that is below 40% to have any opportunity at the historically low mortgage rates we are seeing. It is also important to remember that Wells Fargo is one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country but they are not the only option.
With the advancements in technology it is now the case in almost every homeowner has the ability to receive mortgage rate information from the comfort of their home or office. By doing this research online some homeowners could end up saving hundreds of dollars a month with a lower home loan interest rate.
