Posted on | December 17, 2010 | No Comments

Since the beginning of November Wells Fargo refinance mortgage rates have been as low as 4.0% and as high as 5.25%. At the present time we are seeing 30 year home loans stable heading into the weekend before Christmas but much of this is due to the fact that many people have already left Wall Street to get ahead on Christmas shopping.

In the month of December it is generally the case that mortgage applications drop drastically as most Americans are more concerned with spending time with loved ones and purchasing those Christmas gifts for the children. Even with this being said there is still some thrifty homeowners who are looking to take advantage of those 30 year fixed mortgage rates below 5%.

It will be interesting to see where 30 year fixed mortgage rates go in the year 2011 as there is a very good chance that they could move higher if the economy continues to improve. The federal reserve bank has repeatedly stated that if the economy recovers there will be no reason to keep interest rates low.

Taking the time and effort to do a little bit of research could prove to be greatly beneficial when it comes to gaining access to the lowest possible mortgage interest rates today. Remember that Wells Fargo is one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country but they are not the only option when it comes to refinancing home loan during the early part of 2011.

With the advancements in technology it is now the case that almost every mortgage lender in the country offers online assistance to a live chat or e-mail updates. Taking advantage of these opportunities is very important when it comes to understanding what options are available when it comes to 30 year and 15 year home loan interest rates at the present time. Luckily, Google has made it much easier to find these resources as their search engine provides quality information.
