As we get closer and closer to the Christmas holiday it is generally the case that Americans are more concerned with issues related to traveling and spending time with loved ones. With this being true and is highly unlikely that refinance activity will pick up over the next few weeks.

Even though this is the case there still many thrifty American homeowners that are looking to save as much money as possible even during the Christmas holiday shopping season. It is important to understand that it takes an amazing credit score, usually about 740, to have any opportunity to lock into the lowest refinance mortgage rate. It is also important to remember that Bank of America is one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country but they are definitely not the only option.

By doing a little bit of extra research and homework online almost all homeowners will find that there are multiple mortgage lenders located at the local, regional and national level. Many of these lenders will be more than happy to help customers obtain a low interest rate quote along with great customer service.
