Wells Fargo refinance mortgage rates have been quite attractive for almost 2 years now is the Federal Reserve Bank has taken the necessary steps to keep interest rates very low. After the credit crisis the Federal Reserve Bank started taking every step possible to keep home loans near all-time low levels and today we are seeing the 30 year fixed around 4.25%.
After the purchase of Wachovia Wells Fargo became one of the largest mortgage lenders in the country but it is important to recognize that they are not the only option when it comes to finding the lowest possible mortgage interest rates. By doing research online and through Google search it is quite obvious that there are many options when it comes to refinancing a home loan at very low rates.
There’re many local, regional and national mortgage lender spread throughout the country that have helped homeowners when it comes to refinancing home loan. It is important to recognize that there are closing costs involved in the refinance process so the general rule of thumb is that homeowners must save at least one full percentage point.
If a full percentage point is not saved by going to the refinance process than it is generally the case that closing costs outweigh benefits. There many free mortgage calculators available online to help homeowners better understand just how much money they need to save to successfully go to the refinance process in November or December of 2010.
As we head into 2011 no one truly knows what will happen with overall interest rates. If the economy continues to struggle that will likely be the case that interest rates are held low but there have been signs of economic growth which could mean that interest rates move up as the economy improves.
