Free Annual Credit Report – US Government Sponsored Website for Analysis from Experian, Equifax and Transunion

The free annual credit report that is sponsored by the US government is only available at one website – annualcreditreport.com. This website offers a free analysis from the major credit bureaus of Experian, Equifax and Transunion. Any other website claiming to offer a free credit analysis will be punished by the FTC in the very near future so it is wise to avoid these websites.

It is always a smart decision to access the free annual credit report as a way to make certain that a financial history is 100% accurate. It is quite surprising to know that millions of Americans go through life without checking their credit report which in turn could cause huge problems in the form of mistakes and errors which could negatively affect a credit score.

Rather than letting a credit score dropped due to mistakes and inaccuracies it is always wise to address these problems as soon as possible. The government offers one free credit report each and every year to make certain that Americans have the ability to address any financial concerns that they have.

When looking for low interest rates on a credit card, personal loan, car loan or home loan it is extremely important to have a very good credit score. Without having an impressive credit score it is nearly impossible to lock into the current low interest rates available from lenders throughout the country.

As we get closer and closer to the Christmas holiday shopping season it is likely the case that more American households will spend extra money. With this being true it is always smart to make sure that that money being spent is money already earned or money that is spent with a very low interest rate. With the federal reserve bank taking the necessary steps to keep interest rates low there’s no reason that Americans can not get low interest rates with a good credit score.
