With Thanksgiving being on Thursday of this week is highly unlikely that many people are thinking about personal finances when it comes to home loans and credit cards. Even though this is the case there are a few people who are looking for today’s lowest mortgage interest rates and they are going to find that the 30 year fixed refinance rate is around 4.3%.
It is generally the case that the holiday shopping season brings about Americans who are concerned with traveling home for the holidays and purchasing Christmas gifts. It is very rare for most American households to discuss financial issues such as refinancing a home loan or reducing an interest rate on a credit card.
This is quite unfortunate as we are currently in a very low interest rate environment which would allow many Americans to save quite a bit of money through lower home loan payments or reduced interest on credit cards, personal loans and car loans. With this being the case many well-positioned homeowners and Americans could have a great opportunity to save with lower monthly payments. By reducing a home loan payment by one full percentage point many Americans could end up saving hundreds of dollars a month on their mortgage. Remember that it takes an amazing credit score and a very good financial history to have any opportunities that these low rates.
