Over the last few weeks we have seen the conventional 30 year fixed mortgage rate move up from 4% to 4.35% but it is still the case that VA and FHA 30 year home loans are near the lowest historical levels. With this being the case many homeowners will likely look to compare mortgage interest rates today in hopes of saving money before the end of 2010.
Even though it is generally the case that Americans do not think about personal finances during the months of November and December it may be different in 2010. What the overall economy greatly struggling and millions of Americans working very hard earned every dollar possible it is the case that many of these people will be looking to save as well.
Over the last few months it has been the case that many Americans have had the opportunity to save by refinancing. If a homeowner can save one full percentage point on their current mortgage rate it would benefit them to go through the refinance process as savings would outweigh closing costs.
