As Americans are looking to save money going into the Christmas holiday shopping season and may be common for many homeowners to look to compare mortgage interest rates today. At the present time we are seeing some of the lowest refinance FHA and VA home loan interest rates as the Federal Reserve Bank keeps interest rates at attractive levels.
Taking advantage of the current low interest rate environment has held many American say the least hundreds of dollars a month. By refinancing to a lower overall current mortgage rate it could help many homeowners save that extra money that is needed to make Christmas gift purchases in November or December of 2010.
Before making any final decisions it is always very wise to complete due diligence and make certain that interest rates will not drop any more. The current mortgage rates forecast shows that rates could move higher in the near future as the economy recovers. That being said there is also a very good chance that rates could stabilize or move lower if the overall economy continues to struggle with its recovery.
