Ace Hardware Black Friday 2010 Ad Released to Compete with Lowe’s and Home Depot for Men’s Christmas Gifts

Posted on | October 31, 2010 | No Comments

As the economy continues to struggle and Americans look for great deals Ace Hardware is looking to gain customers especially during the holiday season.  Recently the Ace Hardware Black Friday 2010 ad was released and the offers available are looking to give Ace a competitive advantage when it comes to Lowe’s and Home Depot.  For those looking for a Christmas gift idea for men in 2010 it might be a good idea to check out the newest Ace Hardware ad.

There is very little doubt the Lowe’s and Home Depot continue to gain marketshare while Ace Hardware has struggled but as with know, any company can turn it around with one product or sale.  Apple turned around their entire business model with a few very successful products such as the iPod and MacBook.

The front page of the Ace Hardware Black Friday ad shows a Shop-Vac for $29.99 after $10 mail in rebate, an $89.99 Dewali Power Drill after $10 mail in rebate and a two pack of 4 foot potted Christmas trees for $19.99.  There are also many coupons and discounts on other items such as tools, Christmas decorations and pet beds.  There is very little doubt that Ace Hardware is a great place to buy a Christmas gift idea for a father, husband or son but can they gain customers over Lowe’s and Home Depot?  It will be interesting to see how the number come in this year.
