Toys R Us Black Friday Sales on Christmas Toy Book Start on Halloween, October 31, 2010

It is very hard to believe but the Christmas holiday shopping season is upon us. Toys “R” Us has announced that they will start their Black Friday sales on the 80 page Christmas Toy book starting on Halloween, October 31, 2010. This comes as no surprise as many retailers are looking to offer many discounts early in the shopping season and hoping to get a leg up when it comes to profits.


Sears recently announced that they are going to start their Black Friday “Now” promotion on October 29. This promotion offers a discount to specific items each Friday and Saturday all the way until December 25. This Friday and Saturday seers is offering an 30 Inch RCA LCD TV for $80 off which comes out to about $500 before taxes.


With Toys “R” Us and Sears looking to remain competitive when it comes to Christmas sales it comes as little surprise to see these deals early in the holiday shopping season. Many people do not think these sales would start as early as Halloween shoppers are already thinking about Christmas gift ideas and this is one way to get some early sales.
