Free Annual Credit Report Online – Government Free Analysis from Bureaus Experian, Equifax and Transunion in October 2010

As millions of Americans are thinking About spending money on Christmas gifts over the next few months it will likely be the case that they consider taking out a new credit card or another line of credit. Before doing this it would be wise to take advantage of the free annual credit report online to help better understand the specific financial situation.


At the present time the government offers a free analysis from the credit bureaus of Experian, Equifax and Transunion.  This free analysis is only available at one website – annualcreditreport.com.  Other websites might claim to offer a free government credit report but at the present time this is the only website that has complete FTC and government approval.


It is not surprising to see millions of Americans looking to save money during the holiday season as many people are already searching for 2010 cyber Monday deals from Best Buy and other major retailers. Saving money during these major sales is very important as the overall economy has continued to struggle throughout 2010.  Luckily there are ways to save when making those Christmas gift purchases; it takes a little bit of research to find the best deals out there.
