After the credit crisis many Americans learn their lesson when it comes to saving money rather than buying on credit. With this being the case many people are currently looking for a high yield savings account with an interest rate above 3%. Some of the banks that currently offer very attractive rates, not necessarily about 3%, include Ally Bank, Suntrust Bank and many local community banks.
