Save Money Any Way Possible

Federal Government Credit Card Debt Relief Rules Change in October – Obama Plans Adjust in Late 2010 for Debt Settlement

Posted on | October 19, 2010 | No Comments

The possibility of a federal government credit card debt relief plan, program or service has the interest of many Americans who continue to struggle when it comes to their personal finances. It is important to remember that the Obama administration is going to change the laws of debt relief and debt settlement beginning October 27, 2010.  Also remember that there is no such thing as an Obama or government debt relief program.

It is no longer going to be the case that credit card debt relief companies can charge upfront fees for their services. This is very important as it will help many Americans avoid scams when it comes to debt settlement or debt reduction. Unfortunately, it has been very common for struggling Americans to be very vulnerable when it comes to reducing their high interest rate credit card debt.

With many people already considering Christmas gift ideas for 2010 it comes as no surprise to see Americans looking to save as much money as possible. With Thanksgiving Friday sales at Best Buy already being a very hot topic it will likely be the case that many people wait until Black Friday to spend money in hopes of saving. It would be very smart to create a budget before buying Christmas gifts this holiday season.
