The Government and FTC currently sponsor a free annual credit report from Experian, Transunion and Equifax but it is very important to remember that this free credit analysis is only available at one website – annualcreditreport.com. there may be other websites that claim to have government or FTC approval but at the present time this is the only one that truly offers a one free credit report each year.
It is always a wise decision to check your credit report once a year to make sure there are no mistakes which could be hindering the ability to lock in to low interest rates. With 30 year fixed mortgage rates at an all-time low there were many possibilities to save a great deal of money by gaining access to these historically low rates.
Americans are looking to save in every way possible as retailers are offering promotions such as Best Buy free phone Fridays. With retailers working hard to help Americans save it comes as no surprise to see many of these individuals looking to lower their interest rates on credit cards, personal loans, car loans and home loans.
