Federal government credit card debt relief has become a very popular topic as a large amount of the American population continues to struggle when it comes to paying bills and making certain their personal finances are straight. The Obama administration has changed the rules when it comes to debt settlement fees that are charged upfront.

It will no longer be the case that upfront fees will be able to be charged for any type of credit card debt relief program or plan. It is also very important to note that there is no such thing as a federal government credit card debt relief program or service at the present time. The FTC is working very hard to address this issue and make sure Americans are aware that there is no program available.

Taking the time and effort to complete due diligence and research on a specific financial situation could help Americans to better understand how to save their money and paid each and every bill that comes in. Sometimes the electric bill, car bill and water bill can be very taxing when it comes to getting paying all of these expenses but there are ways to budget money and get out of credit card debt.
