Today’s Lowest Mortgage Interest Rates – Refinance Home Loan Mortgage Rates at 4.2% for 30 Year Fixed

Today’s lowest mortgage interest rates have hit all-time lows as the 30 year fixed mortgage rate is at 4.2%. With home loan mortgage rates sitting it very low levels many Americans could benefit greatly by refinancing today. Unfortunately, it is the case that not all homeowners will have the opportunity to refinance to today’s lowest mortgage interest rates.


Taking the time and effort to do an extra amount of research could prove to be greatly beneficial to many Americans as they look to refinance to low home loan interest rates. It is generally the case that homeowners must have a credit score above 740 and a low debt to income ratio that is below 40% have any opportunities to lock in to the lowest possible refinance rate current economic environment.

Over the last several weeks has been the case that the majority of mortgage applications have been to refinance. This comes as no surprise as many first-time home buyers are sitting on the sidelines and hoping that the housing market bottoms. Instead of catching a falling knife they want to buy a home that is increasing in value.
