With many Americans beginning to notice that mortgage interest rates are very close to all-time lows it should come as no Sopranos to see many people looking to compare mortgage interest rates today. To refinance with the lowest FHA, VA, conventional or fixed mortgage rates in September of 2010 it takes a very good credit score and a low debt to income ratio.
Over the next several months and will likely be the case that a growing number of Americans who look to refinance their home loan at lower overall interest rates. Unfortunately, it looks to be the case that the majority of mortgage applications are to refinance a home loan rather than to buy a new home. First-time home buyers continue to sit on the sidelines and hope that there is a government tax incentive.
With there being no first-time home buyer tax credit will likely be the case that most mortgage applications continue to be refinance applications. This trend will likely continue throughout the fall and into the winter as many Americans will look to save by comparing mortgage interest rates today and locking into a low refinance rate.
