As many Americans continue to struggle to make ends meet when it comes to personal finances it should come as no surprise to see a growing number of individuals searching for a federal government credit card debt relief plan or program. It is very important to realize that there’re no Obama plans or programs that are currently sponsored by the FTC or federal government in September of 2010.
With this being the case it is extremely important to step back and look at the financial situation before making any final decisions. There many free resources available on the FTC website that helped to better explain how to budget money wisely and save more than spending. Ultimately, to get out of credit card debt it will take a very good weekly or monthly budget.
It is also the case that the FTC is trying very hard to prevent scams and illegitimate companies from taking money from hard-working Americans. Credit card debt relief companies can no longer charge upfront fees and the FTC will start enforcing these new laws and the very near future.
