With 30 year fixed mortgage rates very close to an all-time low it comes as no surprise to see many Americans looking to compare mortgage interest rates today. Finding the lowest refinance FHA, VA, Jumbo, veterans or senior loan rates is a task that will take home work and due diligence. At the present time we are seeing 30 year fixed rates around 4.4% but it is important to realize that not all homeowners will lock into rates this low.


Over the next several months it will likely be the case that there is a growing number of Americans who are looking for refinance mortgage interest rate. With the housing market continuing to struggle it seems to be the case that first-time home buyers continue to sit on the sidelines and hope that the housing market stabilizes before making any major moves.
