Finding today’s lowest FHA mortgage rates could help many borrowers when it comes to saving money on a monthly mortgage payment. Refinance 30 year fixed rates have been quoted very low from some of the major mortgage lenders including SunTrust, Bank of America and Wachovia. It is important to remember that these are some of the biggest mortgage lenders in the country but they are not the only options.

Most mortgage lenders are reporting that FHA mortgage rates are coming in very close to conventional mortgage rates. With this being the case it should come as no surprise to see many Americans looking to refinance to a 30 year fixed mortgage rate as soon as possible. It is important to realize that it takes a very good credit score and an extremely low debt to income ratio to have any opportunities to refinance the low rates.

Over the next several months and will likely be the case that many Americans look for today’s lowest FHA mortgage rates and an opportunity to refinance. It seems to be the case that first time home buyers are sitting on the sidelines waiting for government incentives such as a first-time home buyer tax credit. It does not look as if this will happen in the near future therefore most mortgage applications will be to refinance.
