The Government free annual credit report online that is offered to Americans offers a great opportunity to see just how creditors look at a financial situation. At the present time Experian, Equifax and Transunion offer a free annual credit report to each American book please note that this free annual credit report does not include a free credit score. Any other website that claims to have government approval will be punished in the near future as the government and FTC is coming down very hard on those websites that are marketing this opportunity. With that being said there are many reasons to check our credit report each and every year. Many Americans continue to go through life without knowing what is on their credit report and they could be receiving higher interest rate offers than they deserve.
