Save Money Any Way Possible

Today’s Lowest FHA Mortgage Rates – Refinance Interest Rates from Bank of America, Wachovia, Chase and Wells Fargo

Posted on | August 30, 2010 | No Comments

Today’s lowest FHA mortgage rates are very close to all-time lows as we are seeing refinance interest rates around 4.25% for the 30 year fixed mortgage. Many major mortgage lenders including Bank of America, Chase, Wachovia and Wells Fargo are reporting that FHA mortgage rates are coming in very close to conventional mortgage rates. But this being the case there are many opportunities to save by refinancing today.

Over the last several weeks many Americans have saved money by going to the refinance process as almost 80% of mortgage applications have been to refine it. It seems to be the case that many first-time home buyers continue to stay on the sidelines hoping for a government incentive. It looks as if there will be no extension of a first-time home buyer tax credit but anything could happen if the economy continues to struggle.

We expect to see many people looking for today’s lowest FHA mortgage rates to refinance in the very near future. It will be interesting to see if refinance applications continue to dominate when it comes to overall application. With no incentives for first-time home buyers this will likely be the case until the housing market turns in home values start to increase.
