Compare Mortgage Interest Rates Today – Refinance FHA Loan Rates, VA Fixed, Jumbo and ARM Rates Hit Historic Lows
Posted on | August 28, 2010 | No Comments
Over the last few weeks we have seen 30 year fixed mortgage rates drop all the way to 4.25%. Even though rates have moved slightly higher lately many homeowners are still looking to compare mortgage interest rates today. FHA loan rates, VA fixed, jumbo and ARM rates are very close to historic lows on August 28th, 2010.
In the next several weeks it will likely be the case that many mortgage applications will be to refinance as first time home buyers continue to sit on the sidelines and wait for a government incentive such as a first time home buyer tax credit. At this time it does not look as if this tax credit will happen soon.
For those who already own a home it happens to be the case that they are looking for a way to lower monthly mortgage payments. The easiest way to do this is through the refinance process so it should come as no surprise to see many searches related to refinancing a home loan in August and September of 2010 as there is great money to be saved.
