Today’s lowest mortgage interest rates are very close to all time lows as many American homeowners are considering going through the mortgage refinance process. At the present time we are seeing refinance 30 year fixed rates around 4.25% on August 27. It is very important for all Americans to understand that not everyone has the financial balance sheet to lock in to rates this low.
It will take a credit score above 740 and a significant amount of home equity to have any opportunity to lock in to these low refinance rates. Unfortunately, many Americans have found that their credit score has dropped over the last several years which will make it very hard to qualify for the lowest mortgage interest rates possible.
WIth this in mind it is very important to realize that all financial decisions are very important. By paying bills on time and in full it will make creditors realize that you are a good borrower of money. It may take a while to build this reputation but in the long run it could help you to save a significant amount more through lower interest rates.
