Obama Credit Card Debt Relief Plans, Programs and Services Not Supported in August 2010

Many struggling Americans continue to look for a way out when it comes to high interest rate credit card debt. With this being the case it comes as no surprise to see a large number of people searching for Obama credit card debt relief plans, programs and services. It is very important to realize that these programs are not supported by the government or Obama in August of 2010.
In fact, the FTC has come out with regulations forcing companies to change their marketing strategies as they are not allowed to claim government or Obama approval. Those companies that continue to do this will be punished by the FTC in the very near future. It is also the case that debt relief companies can no longer charge upfront fees.
Over the last several years many Americans have spent money on upfront fees when it comes to credit card debt relief plans. With this no longer being a possibility it will be very interesting to see how the credit card debt relief industry adjusts as many of their profits came from upfront fees. It will now be the case that they must perform a service before charging a fee.
