The Free annual credit report online from the bureaus Experian, Equifax and Transunion is a very useful tool for Americans who are looking to borrow money in the near future or refinance their home loan. The government and FTC sponsored this annual credit report but it is only available at one website – annualcreditreport.com.


It is extremely important to remember that this is the only website that has government approval. Any other website claiming a free annual credit report will eventually be punished by the FTC as they have been coming down hard on these companies. It is always wise to check your credit report at least once a year to make certain that they are no errors or inaccuracies causing huge problems.

There are many Americans who are currently struggling when it comes to personal finances and it may be the case that their credit score has dropped. With this being the case it is always important to make sure there are no mistakes our credit report that could make the credit score even lower.
