The government and FTC sponsored this annual credit report but it is only available at one website – annualcreditreport.com.


It is extremely important to remember that this is the only website that has government approval. Any other website claiming a free annual credit report will eventually be punished by the FTC as they have been coming down hard on these companies. It is always wise to check your credit report at least once a year to make certain that they are no errors or inaccuracies causing huge problems.
