Compare Mortgage Refinance Interest Rates Today – FHA Home Loan Rates vs VA and Conventional Rates

The mainstream media has reported that mortgage rates are very close to all-time lows which means that many homeowners will look to compare mortgage refinance interest rates today. They will also look to find out how FHA home loan rates compared to VA and conventional loan rates in August of 2010.


Many major mortgage lenders are reporting that FHA refinance mortgage rates are coming in very close to conventional mortgage rate. With this being the case it looks as if 30 year FHA rates will be somewhere around 4.3% as this is where conventional 30 year rates are coming in. It is important to remember that not all homeowners will be able to login to the lowest possible rates.

Over the last several weeks it has been the case that the majority of mortgage applications have been to refinance. Almost 80% of total applications have been mortgage refinance applications and this will likely continue into the future as many first-time home buyers are sitting on the sidelines and hoping for government incentives.
