Today’s Lowest FHA Refinance Mortgage Rates – August Interest Rates from Bank of America, Wachovia and Wells Fargo

Today’s lowest FHA refinance mortgage rates are at very attractive levels are customers as August interest rates for major lenders including Bank of America, Wachovia and Wells Fargo are well below 5% for the 30 year fixed mortgage. Almost all major mortgage lenders are reporting that FHA refinance mortgage rates are coming in very close to conventional mortgage rates.


With this being the case they are many opportunities to save a significant amount of money I re-financing today. Many homeowners will find that they could save upwards of hundreds of dollars a month on a mortgage payment if they can qualify for a much lower mortgage interest rate. The general rule of some is that customers must save at least one full percentage point to fully benefit from refinancing.

Over the last several months we have seen a significant number of mortgage applications to refinance as almost 80% of all mortgage applications are refinance applications. With this being the case it comes as no surprise to see many banks and lenders being swarmed by current homeowners who are looking to refinance to save money on their mortgage payments.
