With mortgage rates very close to historic low it has become very common for Americans to search to compare mortgage interest rates today.  It is very important to realize that while mortgage rates may be at an all time low not all borrowers will have access to these low rates.  Weekend refinance loan rates from some of the big lenders including Chase, Wachovia and Bank of America are being quoted around 4.25% for the 30 year fixed.


These are some of the biggest mortgage lenders in the country but it is extremely important to realize that these are not the only options.  With the advancements of the Internet and Google it has become much easier to search for a mortgage lender or bank online.  There may be a bank just down the street that can offer some amazing customer service and great interest rates.

Doing homework and understand a financial situation can go a very long way when it comes to making strong financial decisions.  This is why it is imperative to compare mortgage interest rates today before deciding which mortgage lender to use and which mortgage type is best for a specific situation.
