Today’s lowest FHA mortgage rates are very attractive levels as many Americans are looking to refinance in the current interest rate environment. Some of the larger banks in the United States including Bank of America, Chase and Wachovia are offering some very attractive interest rates at the present time for those who qualify with a great credit score and a low debt to income ratio.
By having a credit score that is well below 740 to be very difficult to lock in today’s lowest FHA mortgage rates. Most big mortgage lenders are reporting that FHA mortgage rates are coming in very close to conventional mortgage rates which are currently at 4.25% for the 30 year fixed.
With many mortgage lenders spread throughout the country it should be very easy to find assistance when it comes to locking into the lowest FHA mortgage interest rate. It is important to remember that not everyone will be able to get these rates but there are opportunities available to save money. The general rule, is that homeowners must say that least one full percentage point on their mortgage rate to benefit from the refinance process.
