Today’s lowest FHA mortgage refinance rates have officially hit an all-time low as zillow.com is reporting 30 year fixed mortgage rates at 4.25%. Many Americans are looking for the best interest rate offers from lenders such as Bank of America, Wachovia and Wells Fargo. It is important to note that these are some of the biggest mortgage lenders in the country but they are not the only option when it comes to locking into low FHA mortgage refinance rates.

Most mortgage lenders are reporting that conventional mortgage rates in 30 year fixed FHA mortgage rates are coming in very close. With conventional mortgage rates at 4.25% it can be expected that some borrowers will find mortgage rate quotes for FHA rates around this level as well.

Over the last several weeks many Americans have had the opportunity to refinance to lower rates. In fact, mortgage application data has shown that almost 80% of applications are to redefine it. This means that many first-time buyers are sitting on the sidelines while those who currently own the home are looking to save on their monthly payments.
