Obama credit card debt relief, debt settlement and debt reductions have seen a change in the laws and regulations that will be assessed in the very near future. It is no longer the case that these types of businesses can charge upfront fees for their services. It is also going to be the case that these companies cannot market their products in certain ways to confuse customers.
President Obama and his staff have worked very hard to help consumers when it comes to personal-finance protection. With the economy greatly struggling many Americans are finding it difficult to get ahead when it comes to money. With this being the case they are often vulnerable to scams that are looking to make quick money.
It used to be the case that credit card debt relief companies made a significant amount of money on upfront fees. This will no longer be the case as the FTC and federal government are going to come down hard on those who charge upfront fees for services. Americans can be rest assured that they will receive the services and promises they have been given before they will be charged a fee.
