Over the last ten years it has been amazing how the college textbook industry has changed.  It used to be the case that students had to get their textbooks from the university bookstore but that is no longer the case as many students are looking for cheap college textbooks online.  By purchasing books online students can save several hundred dollars a semester.


Another popular trent throughout America is students looking to rent or compare textbook prices before making any final purchases.  With the advancements in technology it has become much easier for students to compare textbook prices from their dorm rooms, the library or at home before heading off to school.  This could help parents save as well as they do not want to spend $1000 on textbooks for their student.
