Home Mortgage Loan Rates – Today’s Lowest FHA Interest Rates Drop Below 4.5% for 30 Year Fixed Mortgage

Home mortgage loan rates have been very close to all-time lows for quite some time and we are seeing today’s lowest FHA interest rates drop below 4.5% for a 30 year fixed mortgage. For current or future homeowners this is a very attractive level as mortgage rates have never been this low. It will be very interesting to see if first-time homebuyers come onto the market with interest rates at these low levels.

Over the last we have seen many refinance applications as Americans are looking to save money on their current home loans. Almost 80% of mortgage applications have been to refinance a home loan which could cause problems in the future is very very few new home buyers on the market.

Even though 30 year fixed mortgage rates are well below 4.5% it is still the case that first-time home buyers are looking for government incentives such as another tax credit. At the present time and does not look as if a tax credit will be available but home mortgage loan rates remain close to all-time lows which could be incentive enough for those looking to save over the course of their home loan.
